The Kavalier's 2019 Holiday Gift Guide

Hey gents, last year we did a holiday gift guide for those looking to get a gift for their loved ones or for themselves. This year, we’ve built a whole new guide with unique gifts ranging from cashmere underwear to pizza steel.

Each gift on our list has been handpicked so whether you’re getting a gift for yourself or for someone else, you’re getting something that’s nice, high-quality, and perfect for the holidays.

Here’s the video with all of the items as well!

1. Public Rec Joggers

  • These joggers are the joggers that made me change my mind about joggers. They’re tapered, sleek, and use moisture-wicking fabric. They have the stretch and comfort of a sweatpant and if I’m going to be on a train all day, I’m going to be wearing these.

  • $98-length/inseam ranging from 30-36. Material is Spandex/Nylon.

2. Boardroom Socks

  • They have amazing OTC. Their two main materials are wool and pima cotton. They’re warm, they don’t retain smell, and they’re breathable.

  • $15 per pair.

3. 2Undr

  • 2Undr uses amazing fabric and they have the Joey Pouch which I think is a well-designed pouch. I love their performance material and their perforated tush, making everything breathable and flexible.

  • $27 per pair-- Power Shift

4. Mack Weldon Tech Cashmere Long Underwear

  • We all love it: cashmereeeeee. Mack Weldon’s tech cashmere underwear can go under your slacks, your ski pants, your anything. Basically, they’re great for whatever occasion you have planned. Their spandex is next-level comfort and when you combine this with something like the Public Rec joggers, you’re going to feel comfort like never before.

  • $98

5. Everlane Cashmere Hoodie

  • Everlane has extremely good cashmere at extremely good prices. Previously, if you were looking for a hoodie like this, they would’ve been double the price. You’re taking a familiar style, the hoodie, and pairing it with great warmth, comfort, and feel with the add-on cashmere. Check out Everlane if you want a way to elevate your style.

  • $160

6. M. Gemi Driving Loafers (Brolio)

  • M. Gemi is a very trusted shoe brand. Personally, I’ve been wearing their suede driving loafers, but I recommend you check out their leather ones. They’re an excellent casual shoe to wear around the house.

  • $228

7. Fox Umbrellas - Stuart and Lau

  • Number seven is an umbrella that I would label “classy AF.” I get so many compliments on this umbrella. This is a collaboration between Fox Umbrellas and Stuart and Lau. This is one of those gifts that will catch everyone’s eye because it looks good open and it looks good closed. It is, by definition, a proper gentleman’s umbrella.

  • $80

8. Fort Belvedere Gloves

  • The Fort Belvedere Gloves are my go-to pair of gloves for the winter. I’ll wear them every day of the week. These are cashmere-lined with lamb nappa glove leather. They are pricey, but they are definitely worth it because they are touch screen gloves and they keep you comfortable and warm.

  • $160

9. Clear Journal & Squire Pen from Baron Fig

  • These are great for productivity! They have a wide selection of notebooks and pens that are super affordable for their quality. They give you the tools and the methods to be more serious about getting things done on time.

  • $24-$55

10. Anson Calder

  • Anson Calder is a great minimalist wallet that uses luxurious French calfskin. You can carry everything that’s important to you in that wallet and still maintain a thin profile. They have two pockets that can fit all your cards and a pocket for your cash and everything else. Use code KAVALIER for a free monogram.

  • $130

11. Benchmade Knives

  • Sticking with the EDC theme, I think every guy should have a very nice knife. And if you’re ready to go into the upper levels of great EDC knives, then you should check out Benchmade. You’re looking at at least $100+ per knife, but they have some of the best materials and craftsmanship in the industry.

  • $200+ is where most of their best knives are at.

12. Leaf Shave Starter

  • For $109, you’re going to have enough gear to shave for two years. The idea with Leaf Shave Starter is that you essentially build your own razer. I have been using Leaf Shave Starter this year and I’m really impressed with it.

13. Barebones Axe

  • I am an Eagle Scout and I love outdoors and camping. I wanted to recommend the Barebones Axe. It is not just a beautiful piece of hardware, but it’s well-made, functional, and at $142, this is the same idea as the Benchmade knives. If you want to go into craftsmanship and high quality, then you’re looking at the Barebones Axe.

  • $142

14. Dapper Woodworks

  • This is one of those things you’re going to have to order very soon because they’re handmade, but Dapper Woodworks makes incredible products for guys who are into style. You can get tie racks, pocket square holders, and custom coat hooks. You can get the wood customized a certain way to the finish that you like. I have their pocket square holder with a shelf on top which is one of my favorite things in the studio.

  • About $150

15. Duke Cannon Soap

  • Duke Cannon makes my favorite soap. It is a huge bar of soap that smells amazing and lasts forever. The brand has a great mission: they donate a large portion of their funds to veterans. So, they have a great mission, a great aesthetic, and a great product. I highly recommend you check them out.

  • $9

16. Ollie Teeth Whitening

  • The Ollie sells an entire year for $99, but you can buy their products on a monthly basis. They have a transformation kit and then a maintenance kit. I now have two years’ worth of the Ollie experience and I do use it every week. It has absolutely helped my smile, but the big thing with this is that this is the first whitener that gave me effective results, but also not hurt my teeth. So, if you want to improve your smile a little bit, choose Ollie.

  • $99 for a full year’s subscription

17. Pizza Steel

Credit: Baking Steel

  • A little bit out of left field, but you need to check out this pizza steel. It’s $89 from Amazon, but it’s one of the coolest products you’ll add to your kitchen. It makes incredible pizza, whether you’re making fresh dough or reheating old pizza. The pizza steel is just a solid piece of made-in-the-USA steel that you can also use as a skillet so you can eggs, french toast, and etc. on there. Once you get the Pizza Steel, you’re going to wonder what other cool kitchen gadgets you’ve been missing out on.

  • $89

So, those are some of my favorite things, the gifts I recommend and hope that they can add as much joy to your life as they did to mine. A lot of the items are higher-priced, but it’s around the idea that you buy less stuff, but you buy nicer stuff and it lasts longer, and that’s really the whole mantra of the channel.

If there is something that should be on my list that isn’t already, then let me know down in the comments or on Twitter/Instagram. Below are the other gift guides that you can check out if you’re looking for more inspiration.

Happy holidays and until next time, gents...
